Broadcast Samples

On February 5, 2020, I operated a sideline camera for the Muskingum Women’s Basketball team vs Mount Union.  I learned a lot about camera operating and teamwork from this experience as it was my first time recording a live event for Orbit Media.  For more of my clips, also visit (20:20-20:39) and (26:28-26:38).

This mixdown is a public service announcement on how to cope with stress during the COVID-19 outbreak.  This assignment taught me how to adapt to my circumstances as the audio was recorded on April 20, 2020, in my parents closet at home.  All mixing was done using DAD in the Orbit Media studio at Muskingum.

Also recorded while in quarantine on March 27, 2020, this was my first radio promo for Orbit Media.  It goes over ways to receive news from WMCO online and information on Muskingum’s Black and Magenta.  This was also the first instance of having to edit my Rundown Creator script to allow my voice to match the read rate and to insert music for the mixdown.

Recorded on April 15, 2020, this audio clip focuses on resources being offered by the Director of Career Services at Muskingum during the COVID-19 pandemic.  These services included student workshops, deciding a major, and help during lockdown.  This clip aired on WMCO 90.7 as part of a project to keep stories airing when students were off-campus.

During the summer of 2022, the summer I graduated from Muskingum, I had the opportunity to have a position at WMCO where I would record the weekly weather, news stories, community calendars, and I would import new tracks into DAD to be played live on-air.  Here are a few samples of the work I accomplished during my time.
